SPF
SPF or Student Program Funding involves the distribution of College of Engineering funding to RSO's. The Dean of the CoE grants eSAB a budget based off of a proposed budget for all engineering RSO's. eSAB serves to distribute the budget through the SPF process. The following covers the full process of getting engineering funding to RSO's.
- eSAB composes a proposed budget based on past spending and granted amounts.
- The Executive Team meets with the College of Engineering Dean to discuss the budget plan.
- The Dean allocates a final budget to eSAB for the academic year.
- RSO's attend SPF orientation one week before SPF night.
- SPF night is held where RSO's request amounts of funding from eSAB through a budget presentation.
- eSAB grants money to RSO's through a grading and voting system.
- RSO's can extract their granted funding through the RSO Reimbursement page.
As a shortened summary for RSO's, an organization must attend SPF orienation, and then present a budget plan with a request amount to eSAB on SPF night to receive funding. The amount of funding granted to an RSO is comprised of the voting of the entire board.
